Female customer hustling drinks in the club

Sunday, August 7, 2016 2:41 AM
So I take a new business associate to the club and on the way we talk about hustles that go on and he seemed pretty savvy. So I introduced him to a couple of dancers I know and leave him on is own while I visit with a cf. I walk through the place a couple times and see him sitting with a woman I had not seen before. She was in civvie clothes and they were talking. A little later on he is still with her and he stops me and says she wants a drink but doesn't have much money so she wants whatever is cheap. I ask a server over, and sure enough she is still short and he's not offering to buy, so I leave them alone and ask a dancer about the woman and she says- oh, you mean that guy's wife? So she was blocking competition by telling staff she was his wife, and since nobody is stopping to talk to him he's kind of stuck, so I asked the girl to go rescue him. WTF?

Maybe she's a prostitute hanging out in the club or just a mooch. This is why many clubs ban single women customers--which is, or should be, illegal.

I agree on prostitute. I am seen them before. Nowadays you also get Sugar Babies looking for Sponsors, but that's just a euphemism for the same thing. It's more likely she's a SB looking for a wealthy sponsor than a mooch IMO but I guess those exist too. It's possible your friend wanted her there and that's why he didn't shoo her away. I also agree this is why the clubs historically (1) don't allow unescorted women in and (2) don't allow them to loiter around the premises outside. I grew up around prostitutes so I'm kind of used to them. If your friend didn't you might want to the him that *hustle* talk, too. Hopefully he doesn't end up killed and robbed.

Hmmm, it could have been. Like the other's I've seen prostitutes working clubs and yes, clubs ban single women for good reason.

It is illegal to deny entry to anyone based solely on gender. That policy has been challenged several times in the last few years and the clubs have lost.

Prostitute or maybe a stripper from another club on a day off trying to get some outside the club customers even

My guess also ... she's trolling for customers for whatever her own business is
