Getting into the smaller clubs with no cover charge is very easy. They can't keep track of everyone coming or going. So it's simple. Go to places like Talk of the Town, Cheetahs, Olympic Garden, Little Darlings and tell each of the bouncers that you were there earlier in the day and was told you can come back for free if you were to leave for a while.

There's no wristbands, hand stamps or anything to confirm this. So it's really easy to save a few bucks. Always nice to strike up a conversation with the bouncers asking their recommendations for your vegas stay. Be thankful to them and usually they will let you in for no charge.
