I agree. On Tigers opening day I had a monetary goal that I knew was reachable if I hustled (yes I reached the goal and surpassed it by a couple hundred).

As soon as I get on the floor, a guy asks me for a lap dance. I'm thinking this is a great start... Until I get on top of him. He smelled like he had been doing manual labor without showering for a week. Once I recognized the smell, the dance became an air dance. I was NOT going to start opening day and work with a man's musty smell all over me. After the first dance I made an excuse to leave the VIP. That was not a risk I was willing to take on a busy day.

Guys rarely smell that bad, though. Usually they smell fine.

Juice always goes the extra mile. The other day he paid me $25 to shave his back, he said had a hot Backpage date that night. He said he'd give me an extra $10 if I shaved his nuts but I talked him out of it, my hands aren't steady enough.

Over my years of PL clubbing - smelly guys (dirty/unclean body odor - and bad breath) are consistent complaints I've read about from dancers. It doesn't take much to freshen up - before hitting the club. If you are looking to have an almost nude girl grind on you - you really shouldn't be unclean.

Why would a dancer ever tolerate this bullshit? If a guy smells bad or is dirty, walk away. You have no obligation to dance for anybody.

It's very rare that I "dress nice" for a club. But I've always showered, and my clothes are always clean. Except at that black dive after riding in Hecks car, but that smell was not my fault.

And it is very rare when I don't shower immediately before going to the SC.

On a serious note if I know I'm going to get some ITC action I immediately shower before going to the club if possible. I've even checked in a hotel, taken a shower, go out to eat and even return to the hotel to reshot er before going to the club.

Then there's the more pathetic moments where I try to get the closest thing to a shower in a panera bread restroom.

I always shave and shower and dress nicely. I feel it's the least I can do for the young dancers who will be rubbing themselves all over me.

I remember a fav or mine who was on stage and was approached by a scuzzy guy holding a dollar bill. She stayed far from him for most of her set. She finally went over, took the tip, and hastily backed away.

Tell me this, shailynn, how does one shower in that Panera restroom. I appreciate the effort to get clean. Cleanliness is what I insist on when I want to get a lap dance. It goes both ways. I agree with poledancer83. Some guys I have walked by in the clubs, I immediately get more space between me and them, they smell so bad.

And brush your teeth too. I did it in the parking lot yesterday because I had breakfast just before going to the club.

I agree with you. Fortunately I always go to clubs freshly showered, hair washed and teeth cleaned. I've heard some disgusting things over the years from escorts about some guys.

I'm big on hygiene. Unless it is a quick recon visit while I am already out and about, I always shit, shower, shave, brush my teeth, and put on deodorant and a light scent of cologne before any planned strip club visit.

If I'm going to a club from home I am always freshly showered with clean clothes. When I sometimes visit a club while working or right after work I am still clean as I am a businessman and I have to be clean to conduct business.

While we're on the subject, I've run in to countless dancers that seem to have no concept regarding hygiene. Everything from bad breath, stinky underarms, other B.O. problems, to rotten fish pussy, or unwiped ass odors. It seems to be very common that many of those dancers show up for their shift stinking from the previous day or days.
And yes I frequent dives but I've also run in to stinky dancers in higher end clubs as I've also experienced squeaky clean dancers in dives so the type of club doesn't seem to have a bearing on whether they're fresh or not.

Of Course! I prepare for the club like I prepare for a date with a civvie. Shower, brush teeth, shave, mustache wax, beard oil, deodorant, eau de toilette, trim and file nails. Clean clothes and shoes.

It's really the least I can do if the dancer will be all over me.

I do my job before clubbing! I always try to remember2wipe! It's the brilliant way! ;)

I've been complimented many times for smelling nice at the club. Many dancers have complained to me about smelly customers and then I'm the beneficiary of a high mileage dance because I smell good.

I don't know why I continue to be amazed about reports of smelly customers from strippers, escorts, bodyrub girls, etc. It's ubiquitous, I guess I just can't get into the head of a guy who goes smelly to a sex provider of any kind.
