  Locally there are lots of ex-strippers, as our clubs are very soft core. And I know there are lots of ex-webcam girls. But for real hardcore porn, and hardcore stripping, not sure.
  
  In a place like Portland, it must be a high percentage of their young women, excluding the church goers, who have some experience in nude strip clubs.

  For professionally produced porn, surely less than 1%. It's probably closer to 1% when considering the amateur stuff. It's probably really a lot less than that.

  Many strippers dance to recruit a number of OTC escort clients to rocate for cash flow. I have had many strippers pose for me for photos both swimsuit and nude. I am sure many, if the fee is right will do a movie.

  Okay - I've been banging strippers for over a decade and I travel all over the country.
  
  I have personally met one stripper who did porn. She did about 3 scenes that I could find then the disappeared. One other stripper said she did some amateur lesbian videos - but she never clarified how "amateur" it was. My brother went to high school with someone who was in playboy. Not a centerfold but was featured in a college issue. Later she and her younger sister did some softcore movies. She did 2 or 3 hardcore scenes towards the end of her "career." I met an escort in Montreal that did several hardcore videos and had her own website. Another in Toronto that had a few scenes on an amateur website that doesn't even exist anymore.
  
  That's my extent over all those years - so I'd say the number is pretty low.

  They say that many end up in it because they came to Hollywood hoping to get into the straight movie biz. But they couldn't break in and they needed to pay their rent, so they ended up in it's shadowed mirror image, and the differences are not actually that great.

  If its all girls: IAFD has 143.735 performers in it. Lets round up to 150,000 and call them all women. There's 157,000,000 women in America. That's less than .001%. That's probably a shitty figure, but I'd guess its closer to reality that the 30% or even 1% figures.
