I've been salivating for a trip to Montreal based on all the talks of "full service clubs". How common are these types of clubs there? Is even the non full service clubs in Montreal easier to get extras than the crap in the Northeast? Obviously clubs will vary but what is the general scene in Montreal and the surrounding burbs like? Based on reviews and some research, ive built up an "Amsterdam West" picture in my head. How accurate is that picture? Anyone can share some insights?
I'm heading to Montreal this summer. Never been before and don't know shit about it. Hoping the dollar stays strong for at least a few more months, so the exchange rate is good. Think I read lap dances ate pretty cheap most places.
You will not find full service clubs on the island, you have to travel out, way out to laval to find a full service club. You're better off booking an escort. #1 it's technically legal in Canada #2 the quality of girls is insane and #3 the prices are dirt cheap.
Go to the clubs for some good lap dances - get finished off in your hotel. Trust me, I know from experience.
Montreal or Detroit - damn that's a tough question.
Probably Montreal. My complaints about Montreal are its a logistical nightmare to travel in (more confusing than Detroit), the québécois people are kinda snobby, you're not gonna get extras in the downtown clubs and they see all Americans as "stupid tourists." Positives are they have nice poker rooms, a casino, girls are way hotter overall than Detroit and they have massage parlors and quality escorts, plus much safer than Detroit.
I am in Detroit much more frequently. I've been in Detroit over a dozen times in the last 2 years. I've been to Montreal only once in the past 2 years.
Onion - take the time to register at merb.cc and look around. You will find links to tons of escort sites and reviews too. It's time consuming but worth it if you're going to be in town. They speak in code on that site (plus French) so it takes some time to decipher everything but the reward is worth it.
Shai, thanks for the informed comments. For some reason escorts don't do it for me as much as strippers with big mileage. Could be because with an escort im thinking about all the guys shes been with but with a stripper i somehow delude myself into thinking shes only giving ME the extras lol. But enough about my delusional mental state :)
Can you tell me how accessible the extras are if I go to the full service clubs what can I expect? Is everyone offering extras or just some. Are the quality of the girls still good or pretty run down?
Also, about the escorts being legal: are prostitution stings totally unheard of in Canada (unlike the US where they are a dime a dozen)? Because I thought I read prostitution is legal for the girl to offer but illegal for a client to accept.
Although prostitution is legal in Canada, soliciting is not. I had earlier posted about my experience in an Ontario club. The dancer was VERY careful not to detail any cost for the services offered - hence, she could later claim that she was just horny and looking to hook up. When she realized that I was from out of the country and not a LEO, she was a bit more forthcoming.
It is also illegal to operate a "brothel". Since a lot of the girls lived above the club, there was clearly a lot of nonenforcement going on. A key to this is that the club doesn't advertise " sex available on site". Again, the dancer rents the room and anything she does is between consenting adults. In fact, I don't think that the club gets a percentage of these activities. Instead, the dancer pays a "fine" based on how long she will be off the floor.

I only bought a one way ticket to Montreal too. I may be staying longer than I expected.
