It's the cost of doing business; sometimes one will have losses – this kinda shit also happens in strip-clubs where custies will pay the dancer upfront for VIP and she'll make some type of excuse (e.g. “I gotta go to the bathroom real quick”; or “I need to talk to the bouncer real quick”) and then disappear with yo $$$ and no services rendered.
That is why it's best not to pay till services are rendered – if she's not fine w/ that the best I'll do is show her I have the $$$ and if she still wants it upfront most times I'll just walk away.

@estafador: No, it's because I've read the sections of quite a few states and seen that none of them comes close to Florida. Louisiana's is particularly disappointing. CA and NY are alright, but that's really it. Texas doesn't pop much on there. Sections for smaller places in Florida (Pasco, for instance) get more traffic on that site than the New Orleans section could ever hope for.
