Poker in relation to Da Club

Sorry for my absence. Between my promotion at work and the the added work loads plus my poker addiction at the tables...it explains my silence

I started poker a year ago with the idea to help me kill time while saving up for my next strip club adventure... i never would have thought that what started out on my phone and for free to kill time on days off would a year later have me in a casino at the poker tables with $300 per buy in and it would pay for my strip club hobby.

After playing thousands of hands daily fora full year ( i play 12 tables at once online) know i have seen for myself that the poker math is true. If one only plays AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TEN TEN, NINE NINE along with only risking 5% of your bankroll at any one given time....the game is very profitable in the Long Run.

Im writting this at Bo Jangles after a 12 hour shift last night at the casino...im up $1,200 and once i get some sleep in im going to the club tonight.

God Bless my Brothers on Tuscl

Justin

Congrats on the promotion and the come up on poker. Always nice to have some extra cash aside from your main income.

I play online too as well as live, but Man! since 2007 I've yet to really break out. My live results are better than online, but I'd like to kill the online since I get more play in there than in the casino or card room. Well, keep it up good play and bankroll management.

Since you're doing well with the finances would your SC hobby increase? Would once a week to the same club be too much? I'm asking you as well as others as Ive really had good blackjack winning sessions the past 3 weeks and I hit the SC up afterwards each time.

That's as loose as i play..i have been known to play as tight as this and still be profitable

AA, KK, QQ all in cards

    AK, AQ, KQ, in position

I will also play JJ and TT and shove all in if i hit my set if im playing tight

If playing loose i just shove all in with JJ AND TT pre flop

I've made a lot of good money playing that loose and tight

Of course bad beats will always happen that's just paying your poker tithes lol

Over all my poker account grows positive and never negative playing with those hand and position selections

So to clarify and make simple

When Tight i play AA, KK, QQ all in in any position

Try to flop sets JJ, TT with limp or flat call in any position

in position play AK, AQ, AJ, KQ with a five bet. If they check and i missed the flop i will try to take the pot down with a full pot bet. If i hit my hand i shove all in...yes im aggressive

I will also limp but never flat call a raise Ax suited when tight to try and Nut Flush

    When playing loose

AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT are my all in cards from any position

99, 88, 77 are my sets i will try and hit from any position with a limp or flat calling a raise from any position

AK, AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, JT in position with a five bet...if i miss flop and the other guy checks i bet full pot and if i hit my hand and it's top pair i shove all in.....yes my style pisses ppl off but they pay me off trying to call me with second best lol

I will also limp but no flat call raise with Ax suited, Kx suited and Qx suited trying to flush

I will also often check the turn if i flopped the nuts in hopes of bluff catching

Same with the river i may check the river if i know my opponent is aggressive and i have the nuts just praying he shoves all in

I will also do the Johnny Chan play and if out of position and heads up and i know my opponent isn't tricky and checks the turn i will bet the full pot to try and take it down

" I also play AK, AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, Q TEN, JT in position "

hey mr. down syndrome, everyone at the table plays those hands.

I real poker player makes a hand out of "10, 6 off-suit. I see AA and KK get cracked more than they are successful

$300 on a table, which is 5% of your bankroll, means your bankroll is $6,000. Man you better tighten up, since you have that rent money after you moved out of your moms house.

Damn you gotta quit buying all those xbox 360 games, chacken fangers and faygo pop at Wal-Mart bro.

As a poker player who has played 10 -15 times a month for 40 years and who plays more than just hold em, I find the winning theory laughable. You play pocket aces seeking a set? Big deal. Pocket aces, the best starting hand of all, wins at 50% of the time. Unless you are playing morons you're not winning. Until you call get someone off the winning hand with a solid bet, you are not a poker players.

Well Mr 40 year poker pro i don't play in the high roller section like you must witch does take playing the full deck and reading ppl in position more than playing cards

    With that said

I play at the highest stakes of $1/$2 NL so yes it's very soft and easy tables and playing basic ABC poker is enough to turn a satisfactory profit

I always limp those cards except for every know and then i will flat a raise just to mix up my range so its hard to just believe i just call or raise with big cards
  • just_the_nuts
