I'm heading to southern Vermont in about two weeks for work. After researching the site, it seems clear that Providence may be the city to hit up when I am able to get away for the evening.
A couple of questions:

I'll be arriving at night. Are the high mileage clubs in safe neighborhoods?

Are there other cities in the area worth hitting up (Hartford, Boston, etc)?

Is the Providence scene worth blowing off one's opportunity to visit Boston for an evening?
Boston's great if you like the symphony. Providence is great if you like strip clubs. From southern VT you might check out Mario's in Webster, MA. You can usually get what you want in VIP. In PVD Foxy Lady, Desire, Cadillac are generally safe at night.
