This is a million outtakes from "You Bet Your Life". Groucho was a 2015 talk show host (well, it was a game show but had the interview process first) mired in 1950's standards for TV. None of these clips made it to air (Groucho even quips about necessary editing several times) then, but today it has all the wit of Letterman at his peak. Notice how he uses long pauses to milk the sexual innuendos, frequently accompanied by him lighting a cigar (those were the days!).
I defy anyone to not laugh out loud beofe the 3 min. mark.

last commentGroucho was pretty funny. Some of the scenes in his movies crack me up. But i daresay Carson's wit was more comparable than Letterman

I agree Carson had similar timing to Groucho. The same pauses too, to milk the audience laughter.
