Offtopic weather sucks ever since my vacation ended about a week ago and I bough

I thought I would have at least a weekend to paint or put some sealant on my roof. we had 6 days of almost non stop drizzle with scattered storms mixed in. Now they are saying we might get a bunch more rain during the coming weekend.
If I had only known how to kill the drought earlier this summer.
I did see the sun today for a few minutes. It was hot. heat index at 91.
A hurricane might be going to dump more rain my way next.

On the other hand, am I really thrilled about painting? probably not. If it's raining all day though, I have an excuse. I would like to use the paint outdoors this year though. I guess 3 to 5 inches of rain expected is low compared to other places.
