Ok, here's my assessment of the guy. The guy tries to project that he is the ultimate SNAG. So he'll say tons of contradictory stuff like "I know strippers only care about money" followed a sentence or two later by "they sincerely like me beyond the money". He does for the following reasons:
a) he wants to give everyone something they can agree with about. That's the way to be liked. Just hope they like you so much for say what they want that they don't notice the contradictions.
b) his ideal is have everyone think that he is a SNAG. So instead of just saying something "negative" (cardinal sin for SNAG) and thus making it clear he is not really a SNAG deep down, he'll add qualifiers to the mud he slings. He'll add shit like "I'm not trying to be a jerk" "I sincerely hope you get help". When most people do this is clearly deliberate sarcasm. In Lone_Sheep's case the agenda is a little different - trying to convince himself that just because he slings some mud he is still a SNAG only do it to help out. Good one, Lone_Sheep!
Does this passive-aggressiveness rise to the level of "mental problem"? I can only imagine the level of cognitive dissonance this guy deals with from minute to minute. Must be completely off the chart. And no evidence that he is aware of it at all, though.
Decide who you are Lone_Sheep and just be it! A jerk who knows he's a jerk and acts like it - fine. A nice guy who knows he's a nice guy and act like it - fine.
