Porn is brutal work. And from everything I've read, porn stars are about half as stable as strippers. Strippers theoretically can dance for 6 months or a year and move on. There's probably a couple former strippers at any corporate workplace. But porn stars? Hard to come back from porn.
Pornstars are generally uglier than they appear in movies. Plus they're vagina's so fat, when YOU fuck it's like a soft breeze to them. But on the other hand, they make a helluva lot more money than strippers......this is tough. Since I only have to date them, I'd choose.....a stripper. I need my tuition paid off and a brand new car.
Just recently read an interview with the retired porn star Brooke Lee Adams, no way in hell I wanna date a porn star. She talked about when she started was just for fun and some cash, but she was always pushed for the next thing, more twisted, more bizarre, to the point it desensitize her, and she couldn't even get off having regular sex in her normal life. She started taking harder and harder drugs just to keep going, and after not sleeping for like a week from all the blow she had a heart attack and almost died. She also said that most of the girls working in porn were fucked up a lot worse than her.
Papi your first answer amused me, and since I forgot to answer myself, I would rather date the stripper since she can quit by choice and the job is not as stressful on the mind and body for a dancer.

No porn star can shoot 20 days a month. Per day, the pay is better than stripping, but not much. A straight boy girl scene, no anal, is probably 600 bucks? Higher for the more recognized names or girls that are truly brand new. Anal or bondage pays a bit more.
This is why some porn stars feature dance. It's tiring to travel for work, but more steady pay, especially for "mid card" girls who are neither brand new nor recognized names.
Also, streaming Internet porn killed the big money porn star. In the past you had Vivid girls who signed exclusive contracts for crazy money compared to today's porn.
I might be able to handle dating, in the true sense of the word; a stripper or porn actress; as long as she was a *former* stripper or porn actress – no way in hell could I handle dating one that was currently in the biz.

Agree with JamesSD's first post -- as unstable and emotionally unhealthy as many strippers are, everything I've heard about porn stars is that they are far, far worse. I already said in an earlier thread, having dated (in an exclusive, really-care-about-her sense) strippers, I'd never do so again, I can't even imagine what dating a porn star would be like
I've had very limited contact with porn stars. Met a feature dances many years ago in Key West. Seemed fairly "normal". My son met Jenna Jameson as did another acquaintance of mine met her at a different time. Both said she seemed rather friendly and not at all crazy or anything. Below is an interview with Asa Akira. I haven't seen that in my experience. Usually they just move on to whatever. Most have always told me what they were going to do and I had no reason at that point to be distrustful of them.

Now one dancer I met claimed she was a porn star and had been one of the girls on one of those wrestling shows. I thought no f.. way. She was too fat. I had no desire to hook up with her. If I picked based on overall looks, dancers would win. I've met a lot more great looking dancers than I have porn stars.

Stripper. A porn star has seen more big dicks against which to judge me, they're the norm for her. A stripper, on the other hand, sees more "normal" dicks, and hopefully isn't quite so enamored of the huge ones.
