  Because guys are stupid, and they know they can never smash with said porn star so the next best thing is spending money on her.
  
  When the girl I banged started camming she put up a wish list on Amazon.com from the advice of someone else. People started buying her stuff all the time.
  
  I'll never forget I was at an apartment of a stripper in Dallas several years ago and it looked like a best buy cause all these guys would give her electronics as gifts and there were all the unopened boxes, a laptop, printer, DVD player, etc etc. I woulda taken that damn printer if I could have gotten it on my plane!

  Yeah the DS has some guys who but her a lot of shit. Much of it is stuff she doesn't want and she gives away or sells on eBay. With rare exceptions I only buy her clothes that we pick out in the store together and that she wears for me that night.

  Good post. Not quite same thing but I've seen all sorts of things on 'wish lists' of supposedly top escorts, girls that charge upward of $1000 per hour and they have Rolex, Cartier etc. Dumb bitches. Sad thing is some guys actually buy these gifts

  I'm guessing the escorts who only have super-expensive stuff on their wish lists are trying to encourage tipping with $ not merchandise she will generally just pawn anyway.

  I occasionally buy cheap stuff (perfume samples, scarves etc.) from Dollar stores to just hand out. These unasked for things seem to make the girls happy. Cheap candy works well too, they all have a sweet tooth.

  Some guys are naive and still believe in the Hollywood movie of the super hot girl falling for a nerd basement dweller because unlike the other here's she's fucking, he has genuine concern for her well being.
  
  But these guys are full of shit. Give all that genuine concern to the fat girls they actually will appreciate it. Port stars are in the "getting fucked " business and they know all that genuine concern is the most disingenuous of all.
