Anybody else experience this?
Recently after an app update, Google Contacts asked (thru pop ups) if I wanted to consolidate my contacts. I clicked okay and, holy shit, the contact info for a couple dancers I know now showed their pic with a different name (I assume one is her real one) and two contact numbers.
I guess Google somehow maps phone numbers used in its apps and somehow consolidates them. Makes me wonder how much info they have on me.

Google probably has twice as much info on each of us as the federal government has.

A bigger "holy shit" -- you actually gave your real number and email address to a stripper?

Complete loss of privacy seems to be the accepted price of progress. Google knows more about you than your mother does and even that you know about yourself.

Little brother (companies like Google) is watching us! And we're paying him to do it! Not brilliant! :(

Wow! My tablet freaked out when I tried to post that! Almost like Google was watching and didn't want me to call it "Little Brother"! That's freaky brilliant!

My brother works IT for the State Dept.,yeah he's a Dem.He often hacks my computer for sport.I often wake up to pics you would find on Papi Chulo's profile.

I only have 25 FB friends because I'm not a collector. Plus the public is very restricted to what they can see. If I were a dancer it would be the same way for me. The band page is where strangers should go, and strippers should have a separate stripper page..

Do you consider that brilliant or not brilliant?

And is leaving porn pictures on your computer part of his state dept. IT duties? If so, that's brilliant!

Not a big fan of social media or being "connected" to everyone. I have no info on any social media and could care less about telling people what I ate today or why god loves puppies and true friends.

Yes Google has access to email account and phone numbers for millions where it sees a potential match the will make the connection. If you are a G+ user you will start to receive notification. Oh also based on location so you will get notified of coworkers just because Google knows where your phone spends most of it's days

I've had the same general experience with Voxer, which aggressively searches through contacts and emails and phone numbers to try to find connections. I've had a whole bunch of strippers show up on my possible contacts list, with their real names. Still love voxer, but I don't use a pic of myself, and my handle is not my name...

Yea, I take precautions but I have to wonder how much info the dancers have on me.
