Well, this was not the club's money, and it sounds like the place was not even open. Breaking into an ATM machine is something people could try anywhere. I'm glad the woman was not harmed.
It will be hard to id these guys from the videos. Hope they left finger prints.
This Visions is a place I have paid attention to. It is just two blocks down from one of the most FS oriented black places in the country, Passions.
There have been different versions of the Visions web site, but what I noticed is that they take studio pictures of the dancers, with their faces made up in the same way. The pictures emphasize the face, more than the body.
It is a practical kind of makeup, not like they say of a place like Blush in downtown Pittsburg.
To me this suggests that the job is more intimate. The women are not just for looking at.
At least this is how it comes across.
I helped to id people from an armed robbery at a local liquor store once, during the middle of the day.
I saw two persons running very fast away from the store. They had masks on and they were talking them off. But I knew I would not be able to visually identify them. I also remembered the Susan Smith of North Carolina case, stopping black men all over the East Coast.
I did not want to be responsible for a vague black male description. So I made it clear that I could not id them visually. Instead I focused on a car description. I watched them go to their car. Too far to read the license plates, but I got good make and model. Black Monte Carlo, about 1970, custom wheels. This went out on the police radio and soon another PD came back with full id on these two and then other evidence tied it to them.
I told the owner of his practices with Western Union Money Orders that the money is safe. These guys got nothing. But he and his family are not safe in the store.
These ATM's could be causing danger. Need to think about this.
Most of the smaller ATMs in little shops of whatever type are not all that secure. I am very surprised one would have that much cash in it. Because of the lack of security, they often contain less cash. I guess, in a SC, more cash would be needed then in a convenience store.
I wonder how long these guys were casing the place for. They seem to have known that the alarm would be off, as the cleaning lady was there. I hope they can bust these guys.
In a situation like this, they check for inside jobs. Was a situation in Miami where the guy that opens the bank was "kidnapped" and "forced" to turn over the cash. Well, NOT!

And yes, money is replaceable but people are not.
