TUSCL Meet in Detroit--Update # 2

So jealous. Wish I could be there. Since I've been a member, all the meet up's I can recall have been far away from where I live.

Hopefully one of the future ones is a bit closer by so that I can make it to one of them.

How will you recognize all the aliases attending?

Maybe have them wear multiple name tags?

I was thinking of wearing a white three piece polyester suit and running The System. But, even though such suits are very cheap (all RickyBoy can afford on his salesboy commissions) I still think the money would be better spent on Detroit's very reasonably priced dances.

Create a t-shirt. On the front - LET'S GET READY TO T.U.S.C.L.!!!! On the back, your id, I.e. jackslash, bigman226, motorhead, etc

Maybe founder could chip in for the shirts and write it off as a promotion expense?

A good reason to avoid Flight Club on this night, too much competition for the ladies' attention.

I hope there are a whole bunch of you TUSCL regulars there. That way I can say hi to everyone once, the Ricks and Dougsters can steal all my girls, the night will be over and I still have most of my money.

It is when I start out by myself and I need some company I start to be less selective. Now the number of girls could become a problem. The Flight club is a regular strip club from a size perspective, its no Tootsies. I think that is why the plan is to start early. Then again if only four people show up it will be no different than Tootsies.

Wow it would be fun to just sit back and watch the vets spring into action.

I actually just found out I have a chance to make it. I couldn't be there by 4 but I could possibly show up later.

I sometimes see Alan in the club, but not often. He never looks happy. His plastic surgery is the result of being shot in the face. Being a strip club owner is not all fun.

Damn, I wish I could make it. It's not totally off the table, but finding an acceptable reason to go at this time of year is gonna be tough.

Almost pulled the plug on the trip.

I was pretty gung ho about going but had a bit of a personal situation arise within the last 2 weeks and had made up my mind to not make the trip.

After thinking about it for a week or so decided to say WTH – IDK if I’ll be able to make the trip in the future – so as of Th 7/3/14; my flight; hotel; and car reservation; are booked.

Barring any further unforeseen situations; like Mariah Carey said – “I’ll be there” (at FC).

To the best of my knowledge the most PLs at any one “official” meet have been 4 – hopefully we’ll set a new TUSCL meet PL record w/ this one.

I’ll be arriving Wed 7/16 and leaving Mo 7/21 in order to be able to make the rounds of the Detroit SC circuit.

On 2nd thought; maybe I should have not booked my flight – perhaps I should have PMed LMN and convince him to rent a private jet so we could both attend the meet :)

Unfortunately, it's not looking good for me. Lots of corporate earnings that week and training for me. In theory, I could work remotely, but I would prefer to have my workstation and multiple monitors as opposed to just my laptop with me (always worry about WiFi in hotels and or flakey "LTE" connections). Also had unexpected expenses recently plus a couple of trips I need to do in the latter half of the year. Not a definite no for me, but not looking that likely.

Slight chance I'll do a roadtrip all the way to Detroit this fall, but next spring is looking more likely.

Hope you guys have a blast, and, from the sounds of it, seems like it would be almost impossible not to if you were out there. (Although, I'm sure compulsive whiner jerikson40 would find a way to not have fun and have something to complain about.)

Hope you guys have a blast. One hour north of Detroit is Windsor Canada (bring your passport). You can exchange money at the casinos. They have nude clubs and some loophole allows escort agencies to be legal/licensed.
Also one hour south of Detroit is Toledo ohio. The mileage is not great but the clubs stay open until 5am and some are full nude.

What is the over/under on attendees?

To the best of my knowledge; jack will be there (one would think :)); silkypants always shows up (he made the Miami meet); and I should be there.

“Boogienight” seemed very interested in being there.

In past meets; many people were gung-ho but ended up unable to attend.

There seem to be a lot of Detroiters on this site; so maybe we’ll break the previous meet records of 4+ PLs.

I hope Hotstuff69babi comes. We need at least one dancer at a TUSCL meet.

Some people have had to drop out for business or personal reasons. The loss of Juice has cut the number of attendees in half. A few Detroiters will be coming, but I've also heard from a couple who can't.

After the Detroit meet, there will have been meets in Detroit, Miami, Phoenix and Atlanta. It got me thinking where should the next meet be? A few cities that come to mind are: Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Tampa just to name a few.

I agree TOTALLY. It's not like there's a shortage of strippers posting on the internet, stripper-web is FULL of dancers who post. But for whatever reason, this site doesn't appeal to the vast majority of them.

I like when dancers post on here. But most of them either very rarely post, or post consistently for a while and then disappear. Duomaxwell hasn't logged on in a couple months and I can't even remember the last time rachelhmmmm posted.

I think she’s right – perhaps instead of TUSCL on our shirts we should write “Extras Wanted” – that way they won’t be scared off

As for the next meet...there are at least 2 clubs in Chicago where you guys would have fun. Arnies and Atlantis. Club 390 might be passable. And there are a few other in that area (far south suburbs and northwest Indiana) that could provide entertainment.

So I say Chicago.
