This shit has been going on in NYC for forever now. What has been going on with the Show Palace has been absurd. It is tucked away in a factory/warehouse district that nobody would mistake for a residential neighborhood. As stated in the article, the objection to its presence was based solely upon future purported plans for that area, but then what are they going to do with all of the existing businesses there? What crap.
