TD's strip club[Phoenix] fined for liquor license violations

Two incidents of bouncers brawling with customers earned a west side strip club a $2,000 fine from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

One incident started when club staff kicked a 17-year-old boy out of the TD's West Showclub, 749 W. Miracle Mile. The boy and the bouncer were pushing and shouting at each other. The bouncer got a handgun from his car and told the boy he would shoot him if he didn't leave, according to a liquor department investigator's report.

The bouncer didn't have permission from management to have a gun or use it in his security job, the report says.

A few days later, the door security staff fought with a man they were escorting out of the club, according to another report.

Both incidents happened in February, and last month the state liquor department issued the fine for an underage person on premises, a disorderly employee, "repeated acts of violence" and "failure to protect the safety of patrons."

I wonder if the bouncer and door security got fired for causing their club to get fined.

TD's West is definitely a dive club, especially compared to Curves which is only about a mile away. A dancer at another Tucson club once told me that TD's East (nicer club, better area) sends dancers that get busted for drugs or anything else over to TD's West to "clean up". I haven't been there in years, but from what I hear the dancers and bouncers are hard to tell apart!
