A security guard fired three shots at a car that tried to run him down at a Northeast Side strip club early today following a run-in with three patrons.

The guard, 41, wasn't seriously hurt.

The car drove away, and it wasn't immediately known if it was hit.

The guard told police he had “problems” with three men inside XTC Cabaret on Sable Lane near Broadway and ordered them to leave after the strip club shut down about 5 a.m.

That led to an altercation, and the guard said he used his baton to push one of the men away “to get control of the situation.”

He said as he was pushing the man away, he saw a dark sedan driving slowly toward him and then speeding up as it got closer.

The guard said he jumped as the vehicle approached and landed on the hood of the car, then rolled over it and fell to the ground. As he rolled to his feet, the guard said he fired three shots at the car as it drove away on Sable.

The guard complained of pain to his legs and his hand, but had no serious injuries

Sounds like a movie scene. He's lucky that the car wasn't going that fast or else he'd be fucked up.

Here is more no so good news from SA.

A man wanted in connection with a shooting at a Northeast Side strip club Monday morning has been charged in the crime.

Police believe Kacey Rhodes, 24, shot a man in the chest during an argument outside the Palace Men's Club at the 2400 block of Northeast Loop 410 about 2 a.m. on Monday.

The victim, Michael Joseph Vivaldi, 33, was not critically injured.

According to an incident report, two people who had been drinking with Vivaldi said they went to a Spurs game Sunday night and followed the game with a trip to the strip club afterward to celebrate a birthday.

Just before the club closed, they called a cab to take them back to their hotel.

As the group got into the cab, Rhodes allegedly began yelling expletives at them from the driver's side of his pickup. The group stepped out of the cab and approached Rhodes as he and a woman walked toward a back parking lot.

Vivaldi for some reason then removed his shirt, and Rhodes pointed the gun at the group before shooting Vivaldi in the chest.

Local TV news media reported that police at the scene said Vivaldi had intervened after an argument between Rhodes and the woman, but a report released by officials does not mention the earlier altercation.

According to the report, the woman told Rhodes to get back into the pickup before she jumped into the driver's seat and took off.

The witnesses later identified Rhodes from a photo lineup, and he was arrested Tuesday. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was released after posting $50,000 bail the same day.

The incident was the first of two strip club shootings this week — on Wednesday, another man was shot in the forearm after refusing to give money to a group who robbed the place after a dancer at the MVP Club on Roosevelt Avenue accused them of stealing
