I can't say I am surprised, if for no other reason the vast numbers from which to choose. The most votes any single woman received was 3, with many at 2. Many of the women I had to Google to even know who they were.
One thing I did find alarming was the number of respondents that said in the newswoman and politician categories that they didn't watch news or know about anything about politicians. PEOPLE, these are those that can shape your very life's and well being!

When it comes to women in politics etc, fucking them in a pleasant manner does not compute among the ones I think of.
As far as women artists or musicians, I didn't take the time to look up names and pctures to think about it not wanting to go through all the effort. I would have chosen among a group of pictures to choose from. As is I do not usually think about fucking people whom I never see in person. Except maybe when I sleep.
I did think of one hot news girl but the name slipped my mind so the survey got very little back from me. It was too much work. If the survey let me click on pictures to choose from, then I would have made choices.
As for women politicians, I find it hard to believe that I'm the only guy who chose Golda Meir.

Had I posted pictures, then it would have been me making choices for you. DUH!
Anyway, it was not intended to be any scientifically executed endeavor.
I meant if at least a dozen pictures of the hottest women in each category or another choice. That is just an aid, wouldn't mean I would choose any of the above and I don't think that is making a decision for me. It could bias my answers if I didn't remember someone hot but I likely wouldn't remember all the hot girls in a given category anyway. I see pictures as visual aids.

Way to much work to pick pictures, plus my top dozen or so in any category might not even be in the top 100 of yours or anyone else's. :)
