GREEN BAY - The city of Green Bay voted Tuesday night to purchase the Body Shop, at 418 N. Monroe Ave., WLUK-TV reports.
The city plans to turn the lot into a parking lot, and rent the spots for a nearby business.
WLUK says the city will also receive their adult entertainment license back from the business.
The council also voted to delay the sale of the Clarion Hotel to give more companies a chance to bid.

The Body Shop was a little hole in the wall with ugly dancers. You rarely saw more than a few cars in the lot. I doubt they were making much money.
The Clarion Hotel (former Holiday Inn) has a nice location right on the Fox River in downtown, but the interior is old. It could use a major update.
