I've noticed the DJs seem to stay a long time; they don't rotate out much. Maybe it's a cushy, high-perk job so that once a guy's got it, he hangs on to it? I'm sure connections are an important aspect. I've never seen "DJ Wanted" signs posted on SC doors...
Connections, and also just applying. Some strip clubs have websites where you can put in an application for something like that.
As others said, it's actually a pretty rewarding job in some clubs. I've heard of DJs making as much as dancers or even more. So if you're raking in a few hundred a night in straight cash that really isn't half bad. I've heard of some making close to a grand even..
