V-E Day. Thanks for remembering.

As the son of a WWII veteran I can appreciate the sacrifices made by that generation.

If the Japanese Empire had surrendered 1 day earlier, The 2nd World War would have lasted 6 yrs to the very day!

9/1/39 to 9/1/45 instead of 9/1/39 to 9/2/45 as it did.
