Authorities on Wednesday raided Platinum Plus, an Allentown strip club, and arrested 11 dancers on prostitution-related charges, saying they offered undercover officers sex acts in the "Champagne Room," according to court documents. To get into the room, a guest at Platinum Plus would pay between $300 to $700 for a bottle of champagne, the records say. That bottle also bought them an hour with a dancer who would offer sexual services, authorities said. According to court records, the dancers charged between $500 to $1,000 for oral sex or sexual intercourse. Witnesses said police and state Liquor Control Enforcement agents swarmed Platinum Plus on S. Airport Road around 5:30 p.m. According to the court records: On Wednesday, one of the undercover officers posed as a wine distributor and arranged the meeting at the strip club with several Platinum Plus dancers. The fake wine distributor told the dancers he was bringing several clients to the strip club. Those clients were also undercover officers and every one of them was offered some kind of sex act by 11 dancers. The investigation began when an anonymous complaint was received by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement. The complaint said exotic dancers working at Platinum Plus were offering sex acts to patrons for money. Prior to Wednesday's raid, several other undercover visits were made. In those visits, dancers also offered sex acts in the Champagne Room. The Champagne Room is actually several rooms that is elevated from the remainder of the dance floor. The only furniture in the room is a couch. All 11 women were arraigned this morning by District Judge Jacob Hammond. They were charged with criminal solicitation to promote prostitution and released on $20,000 unsecured bail.

If the government legalized whoring, ridiculous prices like this would go away, and there would be room to tax such activity. Of course someone would point out that the gov was degrading women. Not much different than luring PL's into casinos...oh, it is different. Whoring is for real, while winning big at the casino is a fantasy.

$500 for BJ; $1000 for FS. They should go to jail for overcharging.

Is it just me or does "There is no sex in the Champagne Room" sound like it would make for a good CW song?

Maybe that's just the prices they charged the cops. I'm surprised they didn't charge a lot more. well enough to cover bail plus court costs plus a little profit. Maybe they did. Cops get serviced, girls get money, local neighborhood is fooled into thinking its a major crackdown. Probably all paid by Pennsylvania taxpayers.

"Authorities say the women were paid up-front with marked benjamins." Paid up front and no one smelled a rat?

Wow.Just made a comment the other day on the extras thread about this.Funny thing is someone said you never hear about people getting busted for prostitution in the SC aand here it is.Even though it was a set up which is pretty fucked up.There are real criminals out in the world that the police should be spending time on.rapists.murderers.pedophiles.etc.While I'm not an extras guy if people wanna pay for some ass it should be their own business. What a waste oof time and tax dollars.

Sidenote:I do wish people would read the threads first before posting so there's not repeats all of the time. And I also like that shadowcat just types the articles out instead of having to go on another site. When I'm on here on my phone sometimes the sites the the stories are on don't work properly on my phone.
