I only recall seeing this at one place, in Washington Park, Illinois. It seems pretty boring when there's real live girls you can touch getting naked in front of your face. Comments on their review page make it sound degrading, but it's pretty easy to tune out. Eye of the beholder, I suppose.

last commentHave been to a number of clubs with XXX vids running while the dancers are on stage. I prefer the real thing, but the vids do provide alternative entertainment if there is a break in the dancers or the current one on stage is a major beast.

I've been to three different strip clubs that were attached to XXX-video stores and you had to go through the video store to get to the strip club. Only one of the clubs was hafway decent, the other two were awful. But none of them had videos running inside the club. None of these were peep shows either, they were all full-fledged stip clubs. One of them is at an exit on an interstate in a rural area and is open 24/7 which I think includes dancers. I think that's pretty unique.

A club I have been going to recently has two monitors (out of about ten in the club, the vast majority of which play sports programs) that show infomercials for some place from which you can buy Viagra. I don't know how long they are, but they seem to go on and on. The infommercials feature. incredibly hot models. The programming would be considered "soft core" porn, since there is no contact (indeed, I have never seen two models together on screen at the same time.) If I had sexual access to these models, I guarantee that I wouldn't need the Viagra.
I'm not sure why the club does it, unless it's a cheap way to get the videos of naked women. It's not offenive or bothersome, just question-provoking.

I've never actually seen that at a club, but two of my DC clubs have installed plasma TVs. At Good Guys they're between the stages and always playing the sports channels. I can't imagine the dancers like it, especially the marginal ones. At JP's there have been times when everyone in the club, including the dancers, was watching the TV rather than the stage show. That is more a reflection on JP's however.

Shadow, I've seen TVs in clubs showing music videos, but it probably wasn't MTV. MTV doesn't show videos anymore, does it? Usually the video in the club was synced to the song being danced to.

Probably not a good idea. If you've got beautiful women dancing why veg out on porn? I think that porn is varied and personal, guys probably wouldn't want to watch the same thing.

I'll vote "nay", the lack of them won't hurt a club, having them really doesn't help that much if its a crappy club to begin with, not really needed if its a "hot" club. That said, having it in 1 mini-room is okay, such as SF Centerfolds, while watching bet. shows, dancer came in, sat on my lap, commented abt. scenes, led to 1 of hottest LD's I've had in that club.
