Changes in Tampa???

Sunday, February 12, 2006 11:34 AM
[view link] Feb 9 reported the county commisioners are putting a referendum up for Nov to try to eliminate VIP/private rooms, no contact, no nudity with alcohol. The city of Tampa officials do not have to comply but is this just another example of government interference? Tampa has always been a hot spot but that may change!!

Thanks for the clarification. If that is true, that would kill a lot of great clubs on that side of the bay.

I'm sorry I didn't clarify. Although the piece was in the St. Petersburg Times they were talking about the Hillsboruogh county comissioners. They sais they were trying to put pressure on the Tampa City Council to change the nudity statutes. I know its not Pinellas or Pasco Co.

No changes in Tampa. St. Pete is Pinellas County and they're hard asses about strip clubs. Tampa is Hillsborough County.

Tampa is a different county from St. Petersburg. Clubs in St. Pete have always been low contact.
