A Toledo man was shot in the back outside of a north-end strip club Wednesday, police said.
Casey Anderson, 32, was in a car with Antoinne Neal, 35, and as the two were leaving Remy's Gentlemen's Club, 707 Matzinger Rd., at 2 a.m., they heard several gunshots. Mr. Anderson was hit once in the back. Mr. Neal drove the victim to Toledo Hospital; no information was available on a patient by that name, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Mr. Neal, of 2744 Winstead Dr. was arrested and charged with obstructing official business for driving away from the hospital in a vehicle that could be considered evidence, police say. He appeared Wednesday in Toledo Municipal Court and was ordered to be released from the Lucas County jail on a supervised recognizance bond, according to court records.
In 2012, five people were shot outside Remy's, four in one June gang-related incident.
