A Toledo man was shot in the back outside of a north-end strip club Wednesday, police said.
Casey Anderson, 32, was in a car with Antoinne Neal, 35, and as the two were leaving Remy's Gentlemen's Club, 707 Matzinger Rd., at 2 a.m., they heard several gunshots. Mr. Anderson was hit once in the back. Mr. Neal drove the victim to Toledo Hospital; no information was available on a patient by that name, a spokesman said Wednesday.
Mr. Neal, of 2744 Winstead Dr. was arrested and charged with obstructing official business for driving away from the hospital in a vehicle that could be considered evidence, police say. He appeared Wednesday in Toledo Municipal Court and was ordered to be released from the Lucas County jail on a supervised recognizance bond, according to court records.
In 2012, five people were shot outside Remy's, four in one June gang-related incident.

So, Neal tried to save the guys life and they thank him by arresting him. Way to encourage Good Samaritan-ism. Yeah, they might have gotten some evidence from his car. Did anyone actually tell him that, or were the cops depending on him being as cool, calm and collected during an emergency as the cops were.

No good deed goes unpunished. This is the same town that arrested a guy for breaking into a slavery whorehouse to get his 14yo daughter that had been kidnapped from his town in suburban Detroit Michigan on her way home from school after he had notified police of her prescence in the house and they never showed up. After he got her out he was attacked by the kidnappers in the yard and beaten and when the cops got there they arrested him over the protestes of the neighbors. Only when that local news got involved did the police release him. Fortunately the girl got away and was not recaptured and put into slavery.
The only difference between a cop and a crook is how thay are dressed.
