Moron Reviews

As I'm sure we're all aware, there are a significant number of morons who go to strip clubs. And there are a significant number of morons who write strip club reviews. For example, here's one from a guy who was so fucking lame he couldn't even put a tiny effort into faking it, and just copied and pasted some Wikipedia or whatever shit:

"ive been there its not bad the service is pretty friedly but soso girls.nlike in burlesque theater, the modern popular form of strip theater can minimize the interaction of customer and dancer, reducing the importance of tease in the performance in favor of speed to undress.[49] Most clubs have a dancer rotation where each dancer in turn will perform for one or more songs in a fixed sequence which repeats during a shift.[50] Less formal clubs will have dancers take turns when a stage becomes empty or have a free flow of entertainers where the stage has any number of entertainers who wander off and on at will.[51] Featured entertainers are not usually part of the rotation and they generally have set times when they will perform that are advertised throughout the shift.[52] If a DJ is present, he or she will emcee the rotation and typically announce the current dancer(s) on stage and possibly who to expect in future sets. In peep shows, done with a customer seated in a private booth separated from a dancer by glass or plastic,[53] there may be no music playing during a performance. In clubs which offer lingerie modeling shows, which are peep shows where a dancer privately dances and strips for a customer, typically without a barrier, performances can also be done with or without a formal stage or music.[54]

A club might also hire or broadcast forms of entertainment other than striptease (such as pay-per-view events), for which it earns revenue via premium fees. Some clubs have also moved into providing chat and broadcast services via the internet, including live video feeds.[55] Beyond this more passive entertainment, some clubs' dancers offer additional services, such as lap dances or trips to the champagne room, for a set fee rather than for tips. This fee will typically include a set fee for the room, for a fixed amount of time.[56] Lap dances may also be offered during lingerie modeling sessions. During a lap dance, the dancer rubs against the customer's crotch while he or she (typically he) remains clothed, in an attempt to arouse or bring the recipient to climax.[57] Touching of strippers is not permitted in many localities, however, some dancers and clubs allow touching of dancers during private dances.[58][59] In some parts of the USA, there are laws forbidding the exposure of female nipples, and thus dancers must cover their nipples with pasties to comply with those laws"

If you post a link to the actual review, it's easier for others to flag them.

To be honest, I don't see that many bogus reviews. That said, I probably don't read as many reviews as you guys do either.

There are only 7 clubs in my area and they rarely get reviewed. I usually don't read many reviews in other places-unless I'm going to be visiting that city/state in the near future.

Quit giving out temporary memberships for reviews.

What I don't get is that there is some kind of moderation going on. When you submit a review, it doesn't show up right away. I thought the delay was so a human could look it over.

Ermita - It might be so someone could look it over. But founder or whomever is in charge of reviews posting might just rubber stamp them by clicking a button without ever looking at them. Then when people use the flag feature they look at those with a little more scrutiny.

Perhaps unless the reviews are SO OBVIOUSLY a POS. and not even a review, they may be getting passed without inspection. That leaves it to members to flag them.

Founder pushes a button 2 or 3 times a day to load all of the new reviews in his que. He or noone else reads them before they are published. If a review gets flagged, then he does read it and deceides wether to delete it or not. Usually he delets them.

Besides the morons, there are a few people who occasionally fake a review. I've occasionally run across a few over the years that made me think the reviewer never even visited the club. He had a brain but posted the dancers were naked when the club was topless only. Maybe that is a moron after all. Anyone with a brain could just take less extreme clips of past reviews and fake a new one. Unless the club has recently changed and others flag it, no one would know.

Or how about how people give their life's story when they write a review.

"I was in town for business" or "I was visiting relatives", or "After doing X I had some time to spare"; No one gives a shit why you were in the strip joint. All we care about is mileage.

"After a disappointing time at club A, I decided to check out club B". Okay, if you're writing a review about club B, who gives a shit about club A? Write a separate review on club A and stop being a lazy fuck.

"The runway is shaped like a Y" or "T" or lower case "Q". Who gives a shit about the floorplan? The part of the floorplan that matters is the VIP room/booth/couch...places where you can get some privacy.

"They've remodeled the inside and have 10 TVs". No one gives a shit about the decorations. The only decorations that matter are what the strippers are wearing.

I don't get why some people are so cheap they won't pay for the membership. I wrote a legitimate review for my first free month (on a separate account I've since stopped using) and once I realized this site was worth it, I gladly pay the fee.

If dudes can't afford the couple dollars it takes to become a member of TUSCL, I question their ability to pay for lap dances anyway.

No excuse for a real clubber not to pony up, the lifetime membership is a great bargain.

For people who travel a lot for work, the place they go to get a drink or two in the evening is a substitute for their living room. So they might care about the decor, the ambiance, etc.

Endlesstempo, I take that offensive. I don't pay because, I don't need reviews to tell me what sites are good or bad. I'll go even if reviews say it sucks (because I have a critical eye and just a natural curious george). If everyone paid for memberships because they didn't want to write to read reviews, then there'd be very much less reviews than you see today. I presume most people pay so they don't have to write a review. Besides, not all us freebies write shitty reviews I feel my reviews are pretty well informative. At least I think so

This is hella late, but better late than never I suppose.

Estafador it wasn't directed at members like you - clearly you contribute a lot to the community and you pull your weight. I have no issue with you getting your membership through productive reviews.

The post in question is about a copy/paste review that isn't even an actual review. The only reason I could think of for anyone to put that little effort into a review is for the free month membership. Didn't mean for you to take the post the wrong way, I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about the deadbeats who expect to contribute nothing but still get access to everything else.

I know several morons. Can I get a month each for reviewing them?
