Strip Club Sting Results in 3 Arrests; Subject Targeted Escapes

TUOLUMNE COUNTY–

Three people were arrested at a Tuolumne County strip club during a search for a burglary suspect Friday.

Modesto Police tipped off Tuolumne County Sheriff's, saying that a suspect wanted in connection to a string of burglaries would possibly be at Jamestown's Rosalinda's Gentlemen's Club

Sheriff's got a search warrant and brought in a SWAT team to help, since the suspect is known to carry guns.

During the operation, tear gas was shot in to try and smoke the suspect out. Authorities believed he was hiding in one of the rooms of the strip club.

But, authorities came up empty-handed. The suspect is believed to have escaped before authorities cased the place.

The three people– 28-year-old Nicollette Schmidt, 29-year-old Tanisha Flaherty, and 37-year-old Stephen Frederick – were arrested in the sting, however. Schmidt was arrested for a gun possession charge, Flaherty for a parolee at large charge, and Frederick for a parole hold.

Why don't they do it Texas style:

    1. Plainclothes police enter stripclub and pay entry fee.

    2. Cops spend hours "searching" for the suspect, all the time buying drinks for the dancers, tipping at the stage, taking dancers to the VIP, getting BJ's, HJ's, and FS all at the taxpayers expense.

    3. Cops file report: "Suspect not found, recommend further surveillance, no criminal activities observed."

What??? Those could not have been strippers - they all got a heart of gold! I seen it in a Julia Roberts movie someplace...
