$600 For A Pop

$250 is my upper limit. When it's free at home, $72 (with the room) in Tijuana, $100 in Bangkok, and $150 in Dubai, I've decided American girls are worth more (to allow for cost of living), but not much more.

I see guys paying for visits to the Champagne Room at the Columbia Platinum Plus all the time. The house charges roughly $300/hr and the dancers charge at least that much. Then there is tipping. So these guys are into in for at least $600 and no guarantees. I personally know that I can get the same mileage that most are offering just paying for indivdual lap dances. I have had dancers tell me they made $600-1000 for these CR visit gigs.

The bottom line is that these are just newbies that don't know any better.

never paid more than $150 for ITC and $200 for OTC (unless she brought her hot room mate) too many good looking escorts in ATL for $200 that will suck and fuck for an hour and give multiple shots.

re motorhead, vince: yes, it is pathetic when a bunch of dancers just sit around and don't bother paying any attention to the customers. Some of them have said, when they're waiting around like that, they are expecting their regulars to show up; or you're right they maybe just feeling lazy that day ;)

There is a sucker born every minute. There are also guys out there who are wealthy enough that they don't really blink at that kind of money.

He may well have overpaid. If he was happy with the experience, then it's his business how much he paid.

To some dropping $1K isn't a very big deal. It's analogous to a commoner dropping a c note.

Agree with AfricaLove, although a bit jealous of his price range. I guess it's all relative based on your net worth but I always think differently the next day. Damn I could have bought...enter your own wish here...

Interesting thing about the pricing for a service (more so than the pricing of a product which has a production cost)---- the price is highly "elastic" and influenced by supply and demand. That said, web sites that occasionally describe the price point for services can help the buyer determine a fair price versus an exploitative price. I suspect that some customers who pay exorbitant prices would be embarrassed if they knew how much others with more effective bargaining skills (and some knowledge of going rates in their area) have paid for the very same service.

That said, my max in the U.S. is typically $200 for ITC. As others have pointed out, prices vary depending on the country (Tijuana is a bargain!) and the region of the U.S. (Detroit is pretty good).

You guys never seem to think about the value of time. If a guy like me wants to have an eye-popping experience with a hottie in a club that I will never visit again I am forced to pay up for that experience. If I have to pay $600-$1K for sex during the short time available for my visit I may find it a perfectly reasonable price to pay. My advanced age is also a consideration. I simply don't have as much clubbing time left to me as do you guys in your 20s, 30s, 40s.

In my situation, time is the most valuable commodity I have at my disposal. $$$$$$ are just a means to enable the most efficient use of my time.

My economics teacher taught me that equalibrium price is where the supply curve and demand curve intersect. I'm sure that formula holds true in strip bars as well. Increase supply with constant demand and price should drop. We've all seen that on nights where there are more strippers than customers. Increase demand with constant supply, the exact opposite applies. We've also seen that on nights where customers outnumber girls.

To me is not as much an issue of $$$ but of “knowledge”.

If one is aware of what the going rate is and is willing to overpay if he feels like it; can afford it; etc.; then no problem IMO.

I just don’t think anyone should overpay/get-ripped b/c he/she did not know any better – even if one has big bucks they should be getting ripped.

To an extent, the price paid for a stripper among clubgoers will vary like the price for the airline ticket of your fellow passengers.

Living in Las Vegas I can always say "At least that money wasn't spent on gambling...."

But really it does concern me a little when people overpay cause they don't find out what the going rate is because:

• first they eventually drive the prices higher for me and others
• second if the image of PL's isn't bad enough, it reinforces the SUCKER image some dances have of patrons, enabling them to feel more OK about ripping clients off

I am guessing the PL could have been a foreigner. You don't see too many Americans wearing soccer jerseys. Also the suites has translucent smoked glass. Movement inside the VIP could be seen by people on the main floor if they chose to peer into the glass.
