The Canadian federal government will not issue new work permits for foreign strippers and will not renew existing permits.
The story indicates that "There are about 800 strippers on work permits at various clubs across Canada." These dancers will have to go somewhere, and I propose we welcome them to the USA with open arms. Detroit is just across the river from Canada, and hopefully we can offer sanctuary to these poor young women who are not appreciated by Canadians.
Taking in Canada's foreign strippers will also serve as payback for the British invasion of Detroit during the War of 1812.
