Where does your City rate in the 'smut-census'?

Most porn films may be shot in the L.A. area, but their biggest audience is in Orlando. We know what you're thinking: How can the home of G-rated theme parks be skin-flick central? It seems that while tourists line up at a kid-friendly fantasy world, the locals prefer one in which Snow White and the dwarfs whistle while they... well, you know.

We peered through a statistical peephole to tabulate the following criteria: the number of DVDs purchased, rented, or streamed (AdultDVDEmpire.com); adult entertainment stores per city (StorErotica.net); rate of porn searches (Google Insights); and, for fans of soft-core, percentage of Cinemax-subscribing households (SimplyMap). Not only were Orlando folks the randiest residents, but Florida was also the most salacious state.

I'm just based out of New Orleans and that city's only ranked #40 (getting drunk being the higher priority here).

I laugh more that Baton Rouge, LA, the #1 city of contracting HIV/AIDS is only ranked at #99.

I'm living in the general area of #8(Tampa) and was born and raise just south of #27(Manchester, NH).

I am shocked and impressed that Manchester almost broke into the top 25. They've come a long way in the past 20 years.

Cbus only rated as high as it did...well...'cause we have Samsung....and he has a bit of a porn problem. Without his purchases figured in, I'm sure we'd be at the bottom of the list.

Not surprising. Either cities with a lot of people to get their numbers up, or cities where there's nothing else to do but look at porn. And for the most-part, middle america has very few listings which also makes sense

LOL, some of their data may be flawed if they used ISP addresses. The local phone company where I live at has a monopoly in my area and the isp address is always in NC. Every time I look at porn, that is probably getting added to NC. If they are using an ISP address location that is over 200 miles away from where I live, I suspect a whole lot of people in SC are listed in NC if they used isp address locations. Just saying one reason why NC could be ranked so high.

I guess the other more rational reason is that those tarheels are just really horny and got blue balls not getting much.

I know I can't surf the web without some pop up ad advertising some local girls in NC. Forget the fact that the location is over 200 miles away, they are horny and want me to join up to a pay site. lol, yeah right.

Columbia SC isp location must work correctly.
