I notice that it slows down just about every evening. I suspect that some kind of work is being done on the server.

I agree Shadowcat. It seems fine during the day but in the evening thru late night it just seems so, so slow each night lately.

The afternoon clubbers get home in the evening and tie up the server.

I doubt it's maintainance... I think it just slows down when usage increases after work hours

This site always seems slow for several days or a few weeks now. Reminds me of a slow modem where you had to wait for graphics to load on the screen. It is that slow. It is getting slower too. 56K is too fast. I'm thinking of something slower, maybe 26K or 13K. Glad to know it's not just me though.
