WASHINGTON (AFP) -- GOP front-runner Gov. Mitt Romney has issued an audacious challenge to his three rivals for the 2012 Republican presidenital nomination. According to a statement released by the Romney campaign this morning, the proposal is for the four remaining candidates for the nomination to have one final debate in a very non-conservative setting. The proposed venue? The Glass Slipper, a nightclub in Boston that bill's itself as the city's "original gentlemen's club" and has as its slogan, "Where every man is a VIP."
According to the statement released by Romney's press office, the venue is intended to dispel the persistent claim the the GOP is waging a war on women. Gov. Romney is quoted in the release as quipping, "What better place to show our appreciation for the fairer sex than at a legal business establishment where feminine beauty is the bill of fare?"
The campaign office for former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum dismissed the offer as a stunt. "This just shows how desperate the Romney campaign is for press," said one Santorum staff member. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's campaign has not responded to the proposal. The fourth candidate in the race, congressman Ron Paul jokingly agreed that he would participate in the strip club debate "as long as Mitt pays for the lap dances."
Meanwhile, the reelection campaign for President Barak Obama has denounced the proposed venue as "wholly inappropriate and undignified." According to campaign spokesperson Avril Le Fou, "Holding a presidential debate in the Glass Slipper is a slap in the face to Chicago's own Pink Monkey," which is the President's personal favorite among the Windy City's exotic dance clubs.

Maybe Rick should take his own advise and not look at his wife naked. That is like looking at porn in high def. He'd probably think that was an April fool's day joke.
