  "I know this has been discussed before, but this is my all time favorite. Any other quality scenes you can think of?" None in any mainstream film know of. I thought the linked scene was very unrealistic. That Club doesn't look like any I've ever been in. Too "Hollywood".

  I have to check out the Wrestler @Alucard - I have only seen one room like this one. $600/hr at Lace in West Nyack New York.

  The Wrestler by far (though I admit I am a Gina Gershon fan so I'll admit to watching Showgirls with the sound off). The Wrestler was a very good story though. Something you youngin's can look forward to when its time to make changes.

  I have to watch The Wrestler. One scene that I rarely see mentioned in discussions was in Varsity Blues when some members of the football team head out to the local strip club the night before a game and discover their sex ed teacher "Miss Davis" dancing at the club. Of course, she bursts out onto the stage while the soundtrack plays Van Halen's classic "Hot For Teacher". I loved the scene and very much liked the entire movie.

  As far as movies go, I'm with GoVikings and Steve_ny. "Striptease" was very good. Now if you will allow me to shift the subject to strip clubs in TV shows, "Married With Children" had some really funny ones! Just one example (1:39): [view link] The stripper in this episode was a porn star, Letha Weapons. I saw her dance in the early '90's at a strip club in Van Nuys, CA, now known as Bare Elegance.

  The Salma Hayek Table Dance from "Dusk Till Dawn"....is my ATF [view link] People actually got paid on the set to sit there in the bar and drool...You know I could do that, I'm thinking I should have a f#ckn SAG Card....

  I forgot Varsity Blues, good scene, good movie. Salma Hayak was amazing in Dusk till Dawn with the snake. Tarentino's face was priceless. I also was LMAO during The Girl Next Door when the kid gets a dance next to his father's friend. Awkward as hell.
