5th Kokomo shooting in 5 days leaves man critical

Actually, I've been in and thru Kokomo hundreds of times in my life and never had a problem. I used to live in Indianapolis years ago and I still have family there so I have traveled thru good ole' Kokomo many, many times. I've hung out at the 'World Famous' Hip Hugger til closing many times and safety has never been a concern. It's just surprising Kokomo is experiencing this.

For those who aren't familiar with the city, it's by no means a large urban area. Its population is around 50,000 yet boasts 6 strip clubs. By comparison, Lansing, Michigan, a city more than twice it's size, only has three.

I, of course, KNEW nothing about Strip Clubs or SHOOTINGS when I was visiting Kokomo as a child to see my Great Aunt & cousins. LOL

Time for some 'risk assessment' math: 50,000/5 = 1 in 10,000 chance of gettin' shot.

In strip club math: 50,000-5 = 49,995 potential PLs to visit the local clubs = .002% chance of enhanced mileage due to the decreased amount of customers about.

Just make sure your health insurance is paid up before visiting scenic Kokomo.
