Top 10 List
inno123
The regions should include enough clubs so that being on the top 10 But it they should be concerned with likely destinations rather than specific borders. So for example Tuijuana should be included with San Diego because how often do we hear "I was in San Diego and decided to go actoss the border..." In California apart from the San Diego/TJ top ten there would be Northern and Southern California Top 10 lists
Similarly there should be a top 10 list for the greater New York Area that would include New Jersey suburbs but not upstate New York or the rest of New Jersey. Texax would have a top 10 for Dallas/Fort Worth, one for the Greater Houston area, one for Austin to San Antonio, and one for the rest of the state.
It might take some fine tuning and feedback to get the regions right, but once we do so the results will be much more usefull to clubbers.

As for pickin the best one in area: How difficult can it be to write down all clubs in area with overall grade of 7 or more, and reading more detailed reviews for such clubs to narrow down your choices? Works for me............
inno- The T10/100 system is an interesting, yet flawed/superfolous system to start with. Why further complicate the issue by creating more workload for founder. Such as choosing how to define a region. Limit it by a certain radius? Some "regions" may not even have 10 clubs worth getting excited about. Even if results were tabulated, many users would still dig further into reviews to cull out the features that are important to THEM ( nudity vs topless, alcohol vs juice bar, private VIP vs open LD's, food service, etc, etc.).
I didn't catch it at first, but how do you know that none of the contributors have been to more than a couple of the top 10 clubs? Did you read the hundreds of reviews on each of the 10 clubs, and check the background of every reviewer? I've been to several of the T10 clubs in different categories. Several reviewers have a diversity of clubs under their belt, if only 1 club happens to be T10, so what??? Non issue, afaic.
If Founder did not want to go through the effort of defining wha was a region he could simply define nodes such as downtown Los Angeles. The software will then pick the 100 closest clubs (which it can already do) take the top ten in each category, and then present them in the same manner as the national top 10 is presented now. TADA! Any number of usefull top ten lists with miniscule programming effort. And again, sure you could do the same thing yourself, but what makes this site popular, particularly on mobile devices, is quickly asking the question 'what's the best nearby?'.
the 10 best rated clubs in a 45 mile radius are displayed. In some cases there are not 10 that meet are criteria.
No sorting at all
