Rules in Nashville changed back?

Book Guy
I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
Are things in Nashville "back to normal"? It seems a few reviews have popped up that make it look like, maybe girls won't be traveling all the way to Memphis any more. Your thoughts and experiences?

Drafting a law limiting lap dancing but not conflicting with the First Amendment? Good luck to 'em! About a thousand jurisdictions across the country have failed at the same Quixotic quest!

Here in Jackson, they shut down most of the hot-hot activity in a totally different manner -- illegally blocking club operations. No drinks allowed; wait! Drinks are OK. Just no patrons after 8PM. Wait! Patrons after 8 are OK, but you have to re-pave your parking lots. Wait! No need to fix the lot, you just have to have all your dancers get a license! But we don't ISSUE licenses! Etc.

Meanwhile, there's a "pending" case, tabled from a certain judge's docket, that is now about three years old. It's not, exactly, LEGAL for him to fail to act on an item on his docket, but it would take pro-active lawyer types pointing out (to the great risk of their professional careers) that the judge was ... erm ... in contempt of his own court. Good luck with that.

Heck, we're more effective here in Mi'ssip! Ya'll should larn you a trick er two.
