The name was associated with shootings and in club fights. Manager has redecorated and changed the name, hoping a new image will improve business. We shall see.
A Detroit club named "Spades"!? Was "Kitty's Krazy Klan" taken? Perhaps "Lynch Burg" would have gotten more free advertising ....
Seems to be a trend to playing card names - the old Booby Trap is noe King of Diamonds. Haven't been in either yet... old Cheetah's was pretty much a hand job joint and more, I think. VIPs were all tiny privte booths. Stopped in the last time a couple years ago but there was no room to do anything but sit there and get jerked off.
