  I went to a SC once to see the porn star who was performing. It was so crowded that you could barely move, but there were also lots of dancers there and I had no problems getting a private dance. Go for it, you'll be glad you did.

  We have seen two. One was worth it and one was not. Both cases, different clubs, were fuller than normal. One thing that was clear in both clubs, the local entertainers step up their game to be able to draw the attention because there are more dancers to compete with for the even more limited amount of $$. Both the clubs we were to had higher than average number of couples as well. If the feature entertainer does offer private dances they will be high. The one that we saw that did was $100 a song. The other one said they offered them but she was over 2 hrs late to take the stage and gave a lackluster performance once there so we did not hang around to see if she did on the later show or not. If you do get the chance to see Alexis Texas we recommend her shows. Take a pass on Gina Lynn. We also found that the private dances for the local entertainers were few and far between that night so they were extra attentive to those who did get them. However, be aware that management will probably have set some sort of rules about when they can accept private dances and how long they can sit with someone during the special event.

  Saw Kathy what's-her-name once, the chick who banged all those judges and politicians in Florida while her husband watched and taped in the closet. He was at the SC with her, serving as stage manager/pimp/promoter/Svengali. She put shaving cream on her cooch and had guys come up and shave a little bit for a tip. She had a lot of road miles on her by then. Big crowd, but it didn't look like the other dancers were making much. The headliner's show wasn't much and they charged for everything--Polaroids, souvenirs, private dances at a premium price. I think they even jacked up the usual cover at the door. Was not worth it at all.

  I remember at my favorite club they had a pornstat as the main entertainer for a whole month. I was thinking about trying to get some dances from her but I think I was trying to find a ATF or hoping I was building a relationship with my current. ATF.

  Don't be surprised if the features charge $100 per song for their dances. Major rip off. That is the price Hustler in the Detroit area as well as the Columbus Gold club here in Ohio.

  As for recommending Alexis Texas, I did not care for her performance and she sat over in a corner with her bouncer talking to him the whole time. She did not seem to care about entertaining with the customers. $20 to get a picture taken with them or $100 for a lap dance. You could not just simply go up and talk to her without there being pressure to spend money right away.

  Best bet is see the star in an off hour, like an afternoon performance, when the club is less crowded, but prepare to spend $$$. The usually charge for pictures, and private dances, which are way too expensive and sell their DVDs and other items at high prices, but when the place is not so crowded can see the show. Heidi Hooters was the best live star I ever saw, great show, great personality and fun lady. Saw a few others but she was the best.

  Porn stars are usually boring in clubs. If you want to see a favorite "star" in person, go ahead. But you'll get a better view for free on the internet.

  yeah i consider the whole pornstar experience a rip off most of the time the club is extremely crowded the dances are more expensive and the porn star doesnt even get up untill late .. saw pinky once in baltimore.. she said she would be there by 10.. got there @10:45 she didnt get on stage untill 1:50.. club closed at 2..wtf.. most of them escort afterwards or during the day and usualy for a decent price if they are going to the strip club later on thats your best bet

  I've seen multiple, but only when they do an afternoon show. The ones I've seen do a great show. In order to do well on the circuit they have to do more than a normal stage dance. Each one has their own gimmicks. They often interact with the audience. If you can, sit up at the stage when they perform. It is worth it if you can get a seat there.

  I have seen porn star features in clubs a few times, never on purpose. I took those performances as an opportunity to cuddle with a regular girl, while the young bucks got all excited by the lighting and the over-sized boobs.

  We saw Alexis Texas in Chicago at an after party for Exxxtacy. From Samsung's comments it sounds like there might be some inconsistency in her performances. In Chicago she was high energy, interacted constantly with those at the stage during her performance and even gave away several items while on stage. Yes, she did charge $20 for a private pic after the stage performance and, as I mentioned in the above post, she did charge $100 for a private dance. However, that is the same amount most were charging for private pics at the convention earlier in the day so I assume that is a going rate.
