I am starting to become fatigued with the same games, the same stories, the same get-to-know-you-chatter, etc., et al, in the clubs that I visit. I spend a lot of nights in a lot of clubs each year, both locally and in other states, but there just doesn't seem to be very much novelty in it anymore. This issue even applies to my OTC adventures, of which there are many in any given year. Same little song and dance to get to that point, same types of hotel meetup procedures, same general experiences, etc. Now every once in a while there will be something a little unique that will throw a little excitement into this mix, such as a girl I recently took out of a club who decided she wanted a dip in the hotel pool at midnight. But this is the exception to the norm and most of my experiences are more plain vanilla. I am starting to think that I may need to take a break for a bit until I start to miss it again.

I can see where you are coming from. definitely just go ahead and take a break - you will obviously save some money.

Hmm.. I don't think you should take a break... just realize that every single day is a gift and if you can fuck a young hottie, then just enjoy it man. There's not much more to it... If it's not getting you off as much anymore then you might want to try, two girls at once, or fucking men, because I can't help you with that, It's hard to understand... because fucking women half my age will always be fun to me.. Go to your favorite fuck.... fuck her one more time, tell her you are taking a 1 month break and you will be back to fuck her brains out and you will give her a giant tip if she makes it worth while, see how that works.. just some advice.. I've drank too much bourbon right now to tell you any more.. Take a break! Come back and go for escorts, try and get 3 young blond things together at once.. I fear for the day I am bored with fucking 20-30yr old hotties... DAMN MAN!!

Been there, done that. A break works. Or see if maybe different types of girls. Find one that's into something kinky you've never done before.

So, rick, what will you do during your off time on all your business trips? How about going cold turkey when you are in NYC area and 'save' yourself for adventures on the road? Essentially that is what I do living and working out here in the boonies of Alberta. When I get too twitchy I head off to Toronto or Detroit for some adventures. I have given up on the massage girls and escorts in Alberta. I just like the hunt in SCs so much more!

Time for a break rickdugan! Sounds like you've becoming a bit cynical about the whole thing. If you are on the road, and SC is your evening outlet, try NOT angling for OTC and limit the number of LD's you get. In other words, if you MUST go to clubs, lower your activity level. I've gone cold turkey a few times for 3 to 6 months each time, and it helped my attitude a great deal. When I do return, I have shed some of my PL self-image as well...

Sounds like you've been trying to use strip clubs to fill a void in your empty soul. Of course it won't work. Need to look elsewhere for that.

After a six month break, come back and restrict yourself to high end clubs only once a month. See what happens.

If Rick thinks he's getting burned out by the routine and needs a break, then he needs a break. I would be presumptious to suggest what to do during the "break", or for how long, but I'll take a stab anyway. 1) What other activities do you enjoy besides going to clubs? I realize that geographical/climate considerations may come into play (ie you like surfboarding, no dice in WI winters), or your only free time outside of bankers hrs ( golf course open at 10p??). Sometimes, just relaxing in what you like to do without a set agenda will have things happpen. I've met women just lounging around pool. 2) Related to #1, maybe you have an itch to try the pickup bar routine, and bang a hot chick without laying out Benjamins. Now may be the time to give it a shot. 3) I've found that a break can be good for oneself- the best visits have sometimes occured after a dry spell. Looking for Rick Dugan to be the guy in the library reading a book, or going to evening bible study groups and posting about it........................
