Oh my god. What a way to go, I wonder if he came on the way down. I've heard of desperate escapes, but this one takes it to a new level.

Malaysia morality police raid at hotel leads to man's fatal fall

By Barbara De Lollis, USA TODAY

A former high-ranking policeman, 62, fell to his death from a 16th story hotel-room window ledge in Kuala Lumpur Tuesday as he tried to get away from Malaysia's Islamic morality police, the Malaysia Star reports.

The man had been in an unidentified hotel room with a 50-year-old woman when the morality police knocked on their door at 3 a.m. Tuesday, the story says.

"The deceased was believed to have panicked and in his bid to avoid being caught, climbed the window ledge to get to another room," the Malaysia Star reports. "This proved fatal for him when he slipped and fell."

The man retired from the police force in 1992 with the title of assistant superintendent, says the Star.

Malaysia's Islamic religious department regularly conducts raids, arresting Muslim Malays for "khalwat" or "close proximity," the Agence France-Presse reports. Under religious laws, unmarried Muslims are banned from being alone with a member of the opposite sex.

Here is the solution to getting some strange stuff, if you are a muslim.

NIGERIA – Bello Maasaba, a Nigerian faith healer has had 107 wives and 165 children. Maasaba’s polygamist ways led to him being in prison after he refused an Islamic Court’s order to divorce all but four of his wives.

He's not too different from the 80 year old man, whose daughter, on Easter, tried to get him a hooker, but was arrested :(

"The conditions for Khalwat is provided under the Syariah Criminal Provisions Act, and the circumstances differ from state to state. Generally, as provided by the Syariah Criminal Provisions Act (Federal Territories), Section 27, it entails:

'Any man who is found together with one or more women, not being his wife or mahram; or any woman who is found together with one or more men, not being her husband or mahram, in any secluded place or in a house or room under circumstances which may give rise to suspicion that they were engaged in immoral acts shall be guilty for an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.'"

They probably don't have drive-in movies either...

Sounds like a strange world. 4 wives is ok. Being alone and single with one girl is not. Having multiple people over where you could have group sex is ok if everyone backs everyone else up claiming nothing immoral is happening here.
