Are Tatoos Expensive?

Despite my obvious disinterest, a dancer was showing me her new tatoo as a conversation icebreaker. It was an intricate flower and heart pattern from her elbow to her shoulder. She said it was still sore.

Less than a minute later, she was complaining that she was broke. I was trying to break off the conversation and have her move on, so I didn't ask, "Okay. So how much did the tatoo run you? Think maybe you should have put that on your rent?"

Yes they are a rip off. One dancer has one angel wing on her back and claims she is saving up for the other wing. $1000 per wing and it requires multiple sessions plus tips!

I have a couple of tats and typically you pay by the hour.....so obviously a large tat, say across your entire back, will run quite a bit more than something small.

Here in LA tattoo shops can charge anywhere from $60 - $200 an hour, depending on many factors.

Go ahead and get a tat when you want everyone to know in an indelible way that you are a loser. And know it.

Having said that, lopaw, if I were ever to meet you, I would grovel at your feet.

Jus' sayin' ....

For a "well done" tattoo it will run anywhere between $125-225/HR. Some artists more expensive.

I don't think many worldly strip club goers would be surprised that dancers with tattoos make good money. I'm a top earner in all the clubs I dance at and I have a lot of tattoos. Yes they were expensive, I can afford them, and I get complimented on them continuously.

This "broke" dancer you're referring to needs to get her priorities straight. More than likely, though, she's just telling you she's broke to get a dance. For the record, I would not dance with a dancer that gives you the "I'm broke" line. That's just too desperate for my taste.

Yeah, telling me that you're broke is not going to get you the dance generally, at least not from me.

Some tattoos can be OK, but I honestly prefer a natural body without that sort of thing. Having -a lot- of tattoos is not generally appealing IMO.

I have one sleeve.
Half the men I dance for say they hate tattoos. The other half love them. But, nevertheless, they all end up saying that magic word, you know the one I'm talking about. The "yes" word.

I don't care for the "sleeve" tats. Too much of a statement - especially (later) at age 60, lol.

Now and then, I will see a girl somewhere in the community, and she will be positioned so that her lower back is visible, and she is sporting a "tramp stamp". Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is whether she is/was a stripper.

Besides strippers (and tramps), do girls get "tramp stamps"?

Mmdv26, lots of non-stripper women have the tramp stamps as well. Some guys like to call them cum targets. When you are banging a girl doggie style and about to bust, pull out and squirt all over the ink on her lower back.

Unless it is really excessive, I won't let rats be a deal-breaker for me, but I prefer none at all, or at least small and out of the way. I am the same way with the porn I watch or the girls I meet in real life. I also prefer the conservative look when it comes to piercings. That is, I prefer the conservative look when it comes to piercings on the face. No nose, lips or eye brows please. But I occasionally find nipple and pussy piercings to be really nice.

I like well done tats, and piercings that aren't overdone. I also like lily white, unblemished skin. I also like well tanned all over naked babes, as well as the stark contrast of tan lines. I just like 'em best when they're naked.

I can say they cost more than they might think, since I am likely to spend less or no money on those that have them.

But Clubber, your lack of spending may be offset by those of us who find them attractive.

gmd,

Are you one that would not get a dance because she DOESN'T have tats? If so, I don't think there are a lot of you.

No, but all else being equal, I'll gravitate towards the tattooed one more often than the undecorated one.

I stand by what I said since I think most would not gravitate towards the marked. Maybe I should say, overly marked.

My admittedly anecdotal experience suggests that the presence or absence of tattoos in moderation doesn't seem to affect much overall. This is such a subjective thing though, and "all else" is so seldom in fact equal, that I think it's going to be impossible to prove, or even demonstrate in any convincing way.

I think he might be right clubber. I've watch him, and lots of other men, double take when they see a tatooed girl. They definitely draw attention I can see why the girls get them.

I also will do a double take as it draws attention, but not favorable attention.
