When I drove up to my club today, I saw two police cars in front, blocking the entrance to the lot, and some uniformed officers were escorting people out of the door. I decided the most prudent course was to pass by as though I had never seen the place before.
Was the club being raided? Were the customers and the girls being hauled away to the big house? I had forgotten my cell phone, so I couldn't call my favs to ask what was going on.
A half-hour later I circled back to see what was happening. No police cars. So I went on in.
The girls told me that some young guys had come in and caused a disturbance. The police were called and the offenders were arrested. So the police were there to protect the business, not to shut it down.
It's good to see the police protecting strip clubs and their customers. In this recession, strip clubs are a bright spot in the economy and shutting them down would only make a bad economy worse.

damn I was worried when I first opened this because I know you are from Detroit. Good to read this and find out the cops are helping the strip clubs though.
