Seymore Butts Launches Production Services in Mexico

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.—Seymore Butts has launched Shoot In Mexico, a full-scale production services company for adult producers looking for new locations and talent while cutting production costs.

Shoot In Mexico offers total production solutions including travel, accommodations and transportation arrangements; hot, new Latina talent; production equipment from lighting to cameras; all categories of crew (makeup artists, stylists, wardrobe, etc.) insurance and legal needs; security; and even postproduction.
For those looking to escape the typical Porn Valley studio and gonzo-standard McMansions, Butts' company offers exotic and urban locations in Alcapulco, the Mayan Riviera, Mexico City and more.

“Factors including the connections that I have in Mexico, the proximity of Mexico to California and the reduced costs of cast and crew to be found in Mexico all played a part in our decision to launch this service,” Butts said. “I have shot three movies there to date and have been thrilled with the results each time.”

Butts shot Tushy Con Carne, Tushy Con Carne 2 and Monkey Business in Mexico. He told AVN that he's known his Mexican partners for a long time and Shoot In Mexico has been roughly six months in the making.

    It would be great if his "studio" venues had stadium seating for the curious public or traveling voyeur. Sometimes beach vacations need a little shaking up.

    No, Seymore doesn't have HIV.

    You might be thinking about John Stagliano, owner of _Evil Angel_, who was also aquitted of obscenity charges last year. Stagliano reportedly contracted HIV in Brazil.

    Pre Castro-Cuba was the distribution center for porn in North America. I know some porn was shot in Europe, not sure about the rest. During Reagan's first term, most porn was shot on a large ranch in Northern California because the GOP was trying to kill porn once and for all. The ranch was super large, with guards patrolling the grounds, giving the ranch house a five minutes heads up time to shut everything down and get dressed.

    I don't know if I'd want to travel Mexico any time soon. All those drug cartels battling police and the mexican army don't make for a good vacation spot.

    As silly as the name sounds, this guy was quite the pioneer in the industry during the 1990s. He used to film everything POV, which made him the primary penis and the only camera. He also was one of the first to feature gaping, fisting, and squirting in his films. His major star was Alisha Klass, who could do all of the above with great enthusiasm. He also found relatively unknown talent that was willing to indulge his anal obsession. Unlike Max Hardcore, whose stuff is borderline S&M, Seymore's films were playful, spontaneous, and often funny. He got busted for Klass's full fisting scene in a film called Tampa Tushy (or something like that) but is apparently still cranking out films with the same themes. I think Klass actually was linked to Charlie Sheen a few years back.
