Robbers Shoot Man Outside Strip Club
HOUSTON - Police are searching for two robbers who shot a man late Thursday night.
It happened around 11:45 p.m.
According to the Houston Police Department, the victim was leaving Moments Cabaret on the North Freeway when he was approached by one of the suspects and shot for his wallet.
The suspect was seen running to a waiting car. He jumped in the back seat and the car sped away. Witnesses told police a total of three suspects may have been involved.
Police also believe the suspects robbed a man at a Motel 6 near the club.
The victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition, but he is expected to recover.
If there is any justice. It was the same 3.HOUSTON -- Police say a Houston jewelry store owner has shot and killed three men who tried to rob his business.
Houston police spokesman Kese Smith says two men were in the store Thursday afternoon pretending to be customers when a third man burst into the store and stated, "This is a robbery."
All three men then pulled out pistols, tied up the store owner's wife and took her to a back room.
They were trying to tie up the owner, when he took a handgun from his waistband and fatally shot one of the suspects. Smith said he then grabbed a shotgun and shot and killed the other two suspects.
The store owner was shot in the stomach and taken to a Houston hospital. Smith says his wife was not hurt.
I agree, robbing guys coming into the club might be more lucrative but they might try to take advantage of the drunk customers leaving.
A couple clubs around columbus have parking lot security attendants but I question their ability to do anything besides stare at people.

2) Not the same guys in jewelry store heist. Those guys were killed about 8 hours before the SC shooting.

Strip club owners need to take responsiblity for their parking lots. First of all if gangbangers are hanging around and doing deals and whatever it will give an impression on the nature of your club whether or not you would ever let them inside your doors or not. After all the church lady types are never going to see the inside of your club, only the outside. Finally you will be certain that whatever violent crime goes down in your parking lot will reported as 'robbery occurs outside of strip club'.
So put up some cameras and hire some off-duty or retired cops.
Robbers target guys walking away from the club because they have more time to assess the situation while the guy is usually walking into dimmer light and away from potential witnesses and security cameras.
Park in a well lit area, and don't pay the dancer before the dance.
