Churches run the city of Cincinnati. They not only want to screw the strip clubs in cincinnati, they are now trying to close down strip clubs all over the state with their state laws.
Although living in Cincinnati is not too bad, because you are within driving distance to clubs in Northern Kentucky and Dayton. Cheeks is 45 minutes away from the Deja Vu Cincinnati and it would be well worth the drive if I lived in Cincinnati.
I used to live in Cincinnati and left, in part, due to the repressive and prudish influence of religious conservatives. Other more open cities I'd visit, like Atlanta, Miami, and San Francisco, felt like a breath of fresh air, so I figured why stay? These days I'm a top level income earner who pays my taxes, supports the community, and visits strip clubs in Atlanta - Cincinnati's loss.
Akron has been one of the most depressed economies in Ohio because of the decline in the Akron rubber industry. This is good for strip club customers because they can get the most value for their dollar. $5 bar stool dances with plenty of stick shifting at Akron clubs. Cleveland also now has a depressed economy because of the decline of their steel industry. Again good for strip club value and several clubs have $10 lappers with plenty of stick shifting. Columbus is more of a white collar city so the recession has not hit as hard here as in other cities. Dancers still expect $30-50 to be spent on them for a single lap dance. The 2fer1 DJ announcements are still the most popular times for customers to buy dances so money is not growing on trees here...although Dublin, OH is one of the wealthiest suburbs and probably explains why clubs are able to still get away with $30-50 LDs.
