A Travis County grand jury Thursday indicted officer Albert Aguinaga on a charge of indecent exposure.
It allegedly happened on July 15 when he was off duty. It is a Class B misdemeanor, and he faces up to 180 days in jail.
In KVUE's exclusive partnership with the Austin American-Statesman, the newspaper is reporting that the officer exposed himself during a lap dance at the Expose' Gentleman's Club in South Austin.
Grand jurors declined to indict him on charges of sexual assault and public lewdness.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevado said in a statement that any time an officer violates the law it is disappointing to all the men and women in the department.
Aguinaga has been on the force since 1999. He is on administrative leave without pay.

I wonder how he got busted? Did he take it out and the stripper got upset? Did the stripper take it out and bouncer caught them? Caught on camera?
Got something to say?
