Strippers Protest At Church..

Monday, August 9, 2010 1:10 PM
kinda surprised that sam hasn't posted this seeing that it's in his backyard.... Strippers in bikinis protest outside Columbus-area church Filed by Associated Press August 9th, 2010 in BREAKING. WARSAW, Ohio — The owner of an Ohio strip club and a few of his dancers have been protesting the services at a church that has kept heat on the club. Women in bikinis sat in camp chairs Sunday outside the New Beginnings Ministries church in Warsaw, about 60 miles northeast of Columbus. Owner Tommy George of the Foxhole club in nearby Newcastle says he and his employees decided to start coming to the church because they were fed up. George says for four years church Pastor Bill Dunfee and his congregation have bothered the club's weekend patrons armed with bullhorns, signs, and video cameras for posting customers' license plate numbers online. Dunfee calls George a “parasite” and says seeing the protesters outside the church has strengthened the resolve of his flock.

Hate it when others try to impose their Beliefs & Life style upon me because they think their way is the ONLY way!

Amen, Alucard, I am in total agreement. We have a right to pursue happiness, if those religious fanatics want to try to impose their beliefs on me, I have no problem letting them know how I feel.

WTF is it with Ohio ? Why does that state lead in federal cases against pornography, strip clubs, and just outright sex ? I live in the South where religion is paramount, but strip clubs are pretty much left alone. Ohio, on the other hand, is where legal precedents are set against any kind of sex.

Maybe it's the water, Dudester. samsung1 can probably testify the best about some of the do-gooders he lives with in Ohio.

well i live in ohio too. ohio is a combo of urban and rural. worn out cities and small farm towns. in my county up north i can recall that everytime over the years that a strip club tried to open there were protests against it but by the politicians not religious people. and not trying to turn this thread political but my county of about a quarter million people is run by democrats. the general feeling is that republicans are the ones that want to ban strip clubs but the democrats are just as bad. anyway.. here's another link with pics.... Judging by the pick of the dancer praying with a church member, this isn't the nicest club in the world. Anyway, I live in Ohio...the problem is that we don't have enough for people to do so the people end up getting into each others' business. I'm more of a republican conservative but I look at conservatism as keeping the government out of peoples lives. I'm not sure why so many conservatives feel that the constitution tells the goverment to stay out of business but not out of peoples lives when it comes to pursuing happiness.

Since Sam appears MIA, I will pinch hit for him: Foxhole has a member rating of 2.33 (however, the infamous [view link] once gave it an 8.0). It is NOT on the TUSCL Top 100. (From watching the video, I don't know which looked rougher - the building or the strippers, lol)

lol steve229, you are looking at the wrong foxhole club. I think the one the article is talking about is such a dive that it is not even listed on TUSCL. Newcastle is north of Zanesville and the one listed on TUSCL is listed as in Maysville which is south of Zanesville. They have both Foxhole clubs listed on [view link] though FoxHole 32260 US Route 36 Newcastle, OH · Map (740) 824-5313 FoxHole 99 Maysville Pike Zanesville, OH · Map (740) 450-1380 I guess I need to do the "Add Your Club" option

Sam - so Foxhole is some kind of a mini-chain of dive clubs?

There is a free magazine available at several strip clubs and it has one article in it and the rest is filled with strip club ads and coupons. The Foxhole has a full page ad, but I don't have the ad/magazine around right now. I believe it is just the two clubs, so maybe like "sister clubs" I do know there used to be a Fox chain several years ago. It was owned by a guy named Danny Weber. So the clubs were named like "Danny's Fox Run", "Danny's Gold Fox", "Danny's Platinum Fox"...but after Danny passed away the clubs all started to close. The last one standing was Danny's Gold Fox (I have a picture of it in my profile pictures) but it too eventually closed. I am not sure if the Foxhole clubs are former clubs owned by Danny or not.

@Dudester - I loved my time in Columbus (almost a decade ago now). It is a great city. Not the best strip club scene, but not the worst by a long shot. There are a lot of great folks in Ohio. There are also a lot of churches and folks who want to push their religion on you. If they could learn to stop pushing their religion Ohio would be even better. But I suppose we can say the same about every place in the country! Oh, and I've driven through Zanesville a few times on the way to Pittsburgh. I think I would have been a bit scared of the quality of any strip club there. And I'd be doubly scared of a club in small town Ohio off the beaten path from Zanesville...

From the raggity ass looks of the church, I suspect the pastor is pissed that his collection plate is hurting while garters are being filled.

    Are there atheists in Foxholes?

Just a couple of observations from a life-long Ohioan. Historically, the core of anti-adult entertainment movment is based in Hamilton County, where Cincinnati is located. They waged a long war against Larry Flynt and he built the first Hustler club there just to piss them off. They were the dickheads behind the current law that closes adult bookstores at midnight and tries to ban lap dancing. There are always going to be pockets of evengelicals, like the podunk church in this story, that go after adult entertainment in their neighborhoods, but that's not the problem. Ohio voters are sheep. They are easily swayed and will occasionally latch on to amazingly stupid ideas. It's not just Republicans. Thousands of inner city, mostly African-American, dyed-in-the-wool, liberal Democrats voted to ban gay marriage in 2004. What were they thinking? Why did they side with conservatives on this issue? Lots of people don't understand the appeal or value of strip clubs, so if someone condemns them, they blindly get on the bandwagon. Adult entertainment is vulnerable because it's hard for local politicians to stand up for free speech when there's boners and bare titties involved.

You would be surprised how conservative the inner city is. Especially when it comes to homo men. Inner city leadership is usually church oriented. The only other kind of leadership is gang oriented. Which do you think the voters saddle up with? This is the problem with trying to politically label groups of people. That only works on large groups.

After I submitted the Add Your Club with this club's info (got most of the info from SCL) it seems like a second Foxhole now appears in the search. It is in Walhonding, OH which is just next to newcastle. It has a review from 2004. Founder must have heard this club was closed and removed it but now brought it back. [view link] "You simply can't get any farther out in the woods than this place! I recently visited on a friday night. I was constantly told I was there too early, they open at 7:00 and close at 3:00 I got there around 8:30 This place is $7 at the door $10 if you bring your own beer (you get a bucket of ice) I saw 7 dancers total, I would call one a 6 and the rest are 7&8s The girls did 2 songs each early on, and as the business picked up at the stage they went for a third song, all but one dancer got naked on stage, the one that didn't had a little attitude about her. Private dances are just off the main stage, $25 per song; there is a mesh curtain seperating you from the rest of the crowd, the private dances are topless only. I sampled 2 different girls in the private dance area; both made it clear they did all the touching. they both offered excellent grind and would flash the kitty, but from a distance. they all were friendly; and suggested I come back on Wednesday for 2-1 dances All in all I was amazed that these girls were working this far out in the country, you can't be distracted by the outside appearance of this place( I think it used to be a barn) I will visit again when i have an uncontrolable urge to take a long drive in the country.
