Club X is celebrating their 3 year anniversary today, friday, and saturday with $5,000 in giveaways. You get a raffle ticket at entrance and they draw tickets every hour starting at 10 or 11 pm (depending on crowd). I think they also give you an extra ticket for each LD you buy. Last year I went one night to their 2 year party and did not win anything. This year I am planning on going all 3 nights to increase my chances of winning LOL. I gotta avoid the temptation to get dances and just nurse my drink... Anyone ever win anything nice at a strip club?

I went tonight and it sucked. The idiot DJ kept bragging about how they are giving away free porn...but really it was buy 2 dances for $40 and get free porn dvd. Major rip off.
They did have a total of 2 drawings that night...$50 gift card to best buy and 22 inch flat screen tv. Both prizes were not worth my time to go and I did not win anyways.
I've won pornos before, but that was purely for showing up. The best thing I ever won in a random drawing at a club is a beer coozie I subsequently lost the next day at the hotel I stayed at.
I didn't win it, but I watched a guy win $650 in a "lady lotto" once. Each LD you get, you earn a raffle ticket. Part of the proceeds from each LD gets put into the kitty starting at like 7pm. They draw at 1am-ish and the winner gets whatever the pot is.
Another was a free VIP membership. Good for no cover and free VIP/CR upgrades, plus 1 free drink per visit for a year. That was the best I've seen offered. Of course I didn't win it. =(

What do you mean "you went tonight"? The club doesn't even open up until 4pm and its only 3:30pm now!!!!

I was at Showpalace in Wi. a couple of years ago, and won a pair of tickets to the Bears Packers game.

I think more strip clubs should promote themselves with giveaways. Club X was much busier than normal on their giveaway weekend. You can see on tuscl that there were several reviews written on Club X during this weekend.
One of my former favorite strip clubs in northern NY state used to have a (weekly?) drawing for a free LD. You got the tickets after paying the cover charge that night. It was before my time going there though. One of my former ATFs met many a future RIL that way...lol...
Sam, you remind me of last summer's "Christmas in July" party at Bogart's. For every drink purchase a customer got a ticket. One could tell they were churning the pot regularly based on the numbers drawn. In a way, they had to for most folks would come and go; no sense in calling winners from tickets put into the pot several hours earlier. Club X's promotion will most likely be run in a similar manner. Happy drinking!
